The roots of the firm go back to C.F. Wasserman who began the practice of law as an apprentice in the late 1920’s. Mr. Wasserman, as a member of several law firms, practiced law and real estate development in Lima and Toledo, Ohio. The firm’s modern configuration began when Mr. Wasserman’s son, John C. Wasserman, graduated from law school and joined the firm in 1965. William K. Barron and David A. Bryan joined the firm in 1976 upon graduating from the University of Toledo College of Law. The untimely death of Mr. Barron two years later led to the addition of Francis J. Landry, John A. Landry and David L. Honold as members to the Firm- now known as Wasserman, Bryan, Landry and Honold, LLP- to handle the growing caseload.
After years of continued growth, Katherine A. Pawlak Macek, a former Law Clerk and Associate Attorney of the Firm, became the latest Partner of the firm in 2014. In 2015, after several decades in Downtown Toledo, Ohio, the firm moved to Perrysburg, Ohio.
In January of 2020, David L. Honold made a move from Partner to a role as Of Counsel to the firm. The Attorneys of Wasserman, Bryan, Landry and Honold, LLP bring experience, education, and a strong reputation as trusted advisors to build lasting relationships with clients and the legal community throughout Ohio and Southern Michigan.
